  Cannot fault this medical centre. Everyone from the receptionists to doctors and nurse practitioners are helpful and friendly. We've been several times (having children requires it) so also experienced the midwife care and always got prompt appointments. Dr Glenister and the receptionist Rebecca being particularly helpful.

  The system for taking appointments is beyond rediculous. Appointments are released 2 weeks in advance with new appointments being released each morning. This means a massive influx of calls from 8.30am where everyone is trying to get through. I tried ringing at 8.30 on the dot and couldn't get through for 30 minutes and then when I finally spoke to someone all the appointments for my regular doctor were already taken! I was told to come in the surgery to make the appointment , apparently a lot of patients are now doing this to ensure they get an appointment with their chosen doctor. How is this offering a service accessable to all? My father is elderly and would be a great inconvenience for him to get up to the surgery just to make an appointment, and I do not drive. Apparently appointments used to be released 4 weeks in advance, so why on earth was the decision made to release them 2 weeks in advance when you have doubled your patient numbers? If you try to call in the afternoon all of the appointments are fully booked, again how is this accessable to all for people with busy work schedules? Having to call first thing for a 30 minute wait to be put through when you are trying to get to work or get the kids to school? I can't see how I will ever be able to make an appointment with my preferred doctor, Dr Naidoo, as he is clearly in high demand and this system in place means all the appointment slots are taken by the time you finally get through to reception. The online booking service is terrible and will only let you see availability for 2 doctors - maybe if this was improved the system wouldn't be so clogged up with people ringing up at 8.30 every morning. Unless this system is rectified with some commen sense, myself and my family will be leaving for a new practice; a shame as we have been patients since birth and the GPS are brilliant.
